   The Tineco is one product I have 6 of, both corded and cordless. As a surgeon, OR nurse and PA, cleaning an Operating Room for the next patient is meticulously done to reduce staff infection, as well as many items seen under a microscope that would surprise most patients. I have used Tineco, Symphony, Crosswave and other vacuum steam mops. I thoroughly clean with OR disinfectants that the regular public doesn’t have access too. I tested cleanliness with consumer products versus Operating Room products. After a washing of both machine parts and observing under a microscope, if rollers, and the complete Tineco is cleaned as directed, there was, as you would imagine, a % of dirt and bacteria that was present on the parts like rollers which are being redistributed onto your floor. Using Isopropyl alcohol with no less than 70% added with dissolved Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda + bleach/Clorox Cleanup in spray bottle or a combination with Lysol with Hydrogen Peroxide multi-purpose cleaner is an excellent choice. THE KEY: with all cleaning is just that, keep your machine parts washed, sanitized /disinfected after every use is super important. Think of these machines which are costly, like a car that needs regular oil changes, filters, brakes, etc…in working order and the extra time in prevention far outweighs griping and complaining when the unit fails. PREVENTION is the key. I use Bissel demineralized water with the Tineco cleaning formula. After trying to cut corners using other cleaning products, which I realize, their cleaning solution is expensive, has the best results on tile, porcelain and wood. MY STEPS: vacuum floors completely, Then, I use a large jug to mix my cleaning formula to save time when I need to refill clean water tank, I have a brush on a handle if there is something that their roller brushes just won’t get up (I have requested from the company they offer roller heads, like Bissel offers with cloth heads, scrubbing rollers for those of you that have children or pets that “one roller fits all” is not what consumers need). If they are going to charge exorbitant prices for these machines, consumers of all class levels, need a reasonable choice that doesn’t break the bank. Depending on the size of your cleaning area, I change my rollers after every couple of rooms or at least clean and wash them quickly to avoid streaking. Walk backwards preventing foot marks, lean to the side into the light to see if there are spots you missed or might need to be gone over again, I carry a spray bottle of 511 Kleen & Reseal, the best cleaning and resealing product on the market for granite, marble, natural stone, ceramic & porcelain Tile and Grout (not wood) spray and go over with Tineco machine, let everything dry and see anyplace I missed. The cleanup of machine is time consuming, so the vacuuming is imperative because if there is hair or debris in dirty water tank, DO NOT THROW IN YOUR SINK OR GARBAGE DISPOSER which will cause clogging in your pipes, throw it outside in the planters after picking out hair or larger pieces of debris. It seems like more work than it’s worth, but it is better than hand mopping which spreads dirt around rather than extracting it to be thrown away. Well worth the money especially when they are on sale. That’s when I purchase more than one, cordless is great in any room that needs a quick clean-up when you get it on sale. Happy cleaning!

   I have tile floors and it seems to work well. It has good suction and doesn’t leave puddles on the floor. The only reason I gave it four stars is there are a couple of things that I would change. One is if you have it in it’s upright position so you can roll it to another area of the house, the weight of the wet roller causes the head to drop down on the floor. This causes the steam and suction to start again. (It turns off whenever you prop it up.). It needs a stronger lock when it’s in it’s upright position. I also wish it came with a better scrubber head. The one it has seems too soft for textured tile floors. Other than that I really like the quality of the machine. It is easy to use because of the self driven motor and the dirt detector cleans up sticky spills with ease. It has an option voice communication that can be turned off. Other than the two minor things I would definitely recommend this floor cleaner to anyone who needs a floor steamer that is high quality and does the job well.

   Love this thing! The Tineco S7 Steam vacuums, mops, and steams all at once, so my floors are spotless in half the time. The steam melts away sticky messes, and the self-cleaning cycle is a lifesaver. Battery could last longer in steam mode, but overall it’s been a total game changer for my house.

   I ordered this based on the reviews because I was looking for a wet/dry vacuum that would actually clean and dry my tile floors without streaking. In the past, I have tried other cleaners from Shark and Bissell and they just did not truly clean the tile. They left streaks. I am so pleased with this floor cleaner. It is absolutely the first one that truly cleans the floors and dries them without leaving streaks. The steam function works really well and overall this is a great unit. It is also very easy to use and very easy to clean.

   We have a cordless tineco vacuum. We love it, which is why I chose this brand for a floor steamer.
   This item does not work properly out of the box. The “auto” mode is supposed to detect the amount of dirt on the floor and the display is supposed to turn shades of blue or red, depending on the dirt level. This item on auto mode ALWAYS is fully blue, indicating no dirt. While that’s very flattering, tineco, I am 100% certain my floors are not nearly that clean. This one is a dud, I decided, so I’ll send it back.
   So, I intended to re-purchase and stick with the brand; it’s not a big deal to be the one who catches the odd dud. HOWEVER, here are my cautions to consider before you believe you’re ok with rolling the dice on this one in the event you wind up with a dud. First, to send it back you need to repackage this on your own; you can’t drop it off un-packaged. So, a word of warning, KEEP YOUR BOX UNTIL YOU’RE SURE IT’S WORKING or until your return window closes (which I did). Second, now that I’m trying to repurchase less than 30 days after buying it, the price has gone up about $70! And I am not being offered the option to exchange, only to return and repurchase for $70 more–an item that did not work properly on delivery in the first place! [Which may be an Amazon thing and not a tineco thing, but I’m not reviewing Amazon itself here.] Third, tineco customer service is available by phone M-F, 9a-6p, which is exactly when I’m at my job. Not very accessible and helpful. I expected a lot more from a brand that seems to focus on thoughtful, consumer-friendly features.
   I regret this purchase and I have lost brand loyalty. I am going with a Bissell for half the price without the features that I wanted in the tineco. I have several other Bissell products and they have all functioned perfectly out of the box.

   Was everything else actually working? I don’t know. It was deploying steam in steam mode, and the dirty water reservoir was filling up in both modes. Was it getting my floors as clean as it’s supposed to? No idea. That’s one of the selling features but it did not work. At this price point, it should all work.

   Overall, the features that did seem to work for me:
   The self-propulsion. It’s nice when you’re using it. However, it begins pulling itself forward as soon as you turn the power on, and when you’re in “steam” mode (not auto mode), the steam doesn’t fully deploy for about a minute. So, you’re either holding it still and restraining it waiting for the steam to start, or you’re going over your hard floors without the steam.
   The voice prompts. worked fine, but, as another reviewer wrote, too loud.
   Self-clean. nice feature, was a feature that pushed me over the edge to drop this kind of cash on this kind of product. It cleans itself on an included hard plastic storage mat. However, the instructions still recommending that you disassemble and separately clean the round brush, reservoirs, and brush housing.

   This is an amazing machine. Makes mopping easy. I love the steam feature too, but, it consumes a lot of battery. The main thing is cleaning the machine, which is a breeze. Just set it on the charger and press the auto clean button. You need to remove the roller only once a week to clean it. Cleaning the dirty water tank is also fairly simple. One advice I was given was that you should not clean the dry filter with water, as it could lead to performance issues.

   The service provided by the seller was top notch. Pratham from Frootle called me and provided a detailed demonstration of the machine. He answered all the questions I posed. He certainly knows about his products. Thank you Pratham.

   The seller says that you need not dry vacuum before using this mop. But, I have a dog at home, and the floor is typically filled with her fur shedding. So, I dry vacuum before mopping.

   I love this machine, it makes the floor shine!
