   I love the look of the ring. It developed little micro scratches on the palm side after a few weeks of normal wear but they are not obvious and the top is still super shiny. There are green and red lights that shine on the underside that are not noticeable in the light but they feel super loud at night. I’m a light sleeper and the brightness, especially when touching my eyes or face has been occasionally starting. The information from the app subscription continues to grow with my use and it offers great information and tips. It’s pricey but it’s a nice alternative for those who don’t like to wear things on their wrists.

   I’ve had the Oura ring for a month now and I love it so much! I had wanted this ring since it first came out but could never afford it. Now that you can use your FSA/HSA, it is possible. Since I used mine, I went with my favorite color rose gold. The color itself is gorgeous but not a true rose gold. It’s more of a true gold. Doesn’t matter because it’s beautiful and so functional. I look forward to waking up and checking my stats on the app. It is so accurate too! I thought I was getting a bit sick one day and it told me to take it easy so it picked up on the changes within my body. The sleep tracking is what I mainly got the ring for. I have trouble tossing and turning all night and this ring picks up on my sleep cycles. It will give suggestions of when you should go to sleep to get a better night’s rest. It is pretty comfortable to sleep with as well. Doesn’t bother me at all.

   Choosing the right size of ring is very important. Since our fingers do tend to swell in our sleep and with the weather. I recommend sizing up. I usually wear a size 8 but with the sizing kit, I found I had to size up to a 9. Even when my finger has swelled, it’s not uncomfortable at least for me.

   I have seen a lot of people being put off on the monthly subscription. Although it would be nice not to have to pay for one, I don’t mind it.

   As far as the work out option, I haven’t gotten a chance to test it. I do feel it needs better options to choose from with the workout options they have. If it were more like the options on my Apple Watch, it would make it even better. I also feel the period tracking could be better. It’s very basic. Just lets you choose a start date and your flow. This is what I wish Oura could put more effort into tweaking on the app. Its period predictability is pretty spot on. But why should we have to use a separate app if we want to get a more detailed breakdown of our menstrual cycle?

   I know there are other competitors with more reasonable pricing but Oura really is the way to go. I was able to easily put in my order here and got it the next day! Don’t order through the Oura site though. I had an order on their site that was taking forever to get any updates on my order and as it turns out, they were so backed up because they were busy fulfilling their Amazon contract. So just cancelled with them and ordered here and it worked out. If you’re debating on getting one, just do it!

   En la app no tiene dado de alta a México en paises registrados, pero puedes poner la dirección de un hotel o mall en US y sin problema puedes registrarte.

   I wanted to get better at tracking my sleep. I was sleeping 3 to 5 hours a day, no issues with it, except what all the doctors and health reports were telling me. So I decided to investigate myself. The ring is beautiful, fits well, and the titanium is light. I did scratch it a bit when I grab barbells at the gym, so I’d advise to not do that. Everything else, it’s amazing.

   Four days of battery life per charge, waterproof, and deeply discreet. You will see quite a bit of light in a totally dark space, but that part wasn’t so challenging for me.

   You will want to pay for the monthly subscription if you want the ring to do anything meaningful. You don’t have to pay, but the basic insights they give you without paying are useless. But the great thing is that you can pay for it with HSA dollars so pre-tax added to your health cost.

   The insights it had given me have changed the way I sleep and work out. There are lots of reading and blogs, deep dives into your data. Tracking all these metrics overtime is a great way to see what the daily impacts of what you do have on your body. And it’s great to bring to my doctors when I have issues to be able to show them the data directly.

   But the most important part was that once you see the data for yourself you start changing things without being prompted. Just one example, I have stopped drinking in the evenings because I realize that whenever I drank a beer close to bed time, I had terrible sleep. I was restless, defined as lots of mini wake ups during sleep, and that restless was imperceptible to me (I thought I slept soundly through the night).

   A great buy if you want to understand how your body responds to what you put it through.

   I’ve been wearing my Oura ring every day and night for a little over 3 months and it seems very accurate. I’m usually skeptical of wearable monitoring devices, but often try them nonetheless, so I use several different ones, along with non-wearable, more accurate monitors to compare reliability. The Oura seems to be spot on with my sleep, stress, and activity. It’s always detected my naps and routine “workout” activities (I created a label for my strenuous every day activities). Those are really the only stats I look at. Battery life is pretty good (mine usually needs charging nearly every 3-4 days). It’s very stylish and comfortable. I like the pulse ox and heart monitors as well. It works very well with the Apple Health app and integrates seamlessly. The Oura App is also very well designed and functions perfectly. I have not been very careful with my ring—I‘ve dropped it twice on a hard tile floor and I also wear it while working with power tools and while doing light construction/carpentry/craft work and it has held up exceptionally well. I also have worn it while washing my hands, but take it off during bathing/showering. When I first purchased it, I wore a silicone ring over it for protection, but it was too bulky. Overall, I am very happy with this tracker and would definitely recommend it. I love the sleep tracking with my Apple Watch, but sadly, it needs to be on the charging dock at night, so that feature is pretty useless for me. The Oura, however, is perfect.

   Compré este articulo y todo muy bien. Pero cuándo lo quiero configurar no existe la opcion para Mexico. No he podido usarlo por que no me deja configurar en Cd. De Mexico.
   Oura Support no me contesta. Si no hay opcion para poderlo usar en Cd. De Mexico, lo voy a tener que regresar.
