Purchased for 2022 Lexus ES 250 that requires a cord for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The OTTOCAST Mini 2025 2-in-1 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I have not tried with an iPhone yet. The setup instructions were easy to follow and worked on the first attempt. As long as the Wifi and Bluetooth were enabled on the phone, the connection was automatic the following times getting in and starting the car.

Connectivity was horrible, constantly cutting out and static through music and podcasts, decent size, easy to setupโฆdoes not screen mirror, will not play videos on your screen. This simply a wireless Bluetooth device.

This is really a great way of getting your Android Auto to become wireless. The installation is extremely easy and the functionality is seamless. I cannot identify a delay or any drop in quality from the wired connection.
Definitely worth the investment.

I have a 2018 Porsche Macan with wired CarPlay, but my previous vehicle had both wired and wireless and I became spoiled. Pairing this USB device to my car and phone took about 2-3 minutes, and it has worked perfectly over the last 24 hours. My vehicle does have an “always on” USB port, which has both pros and cons. The pro is that it automatically connects as I approach the car so that by the time the infotainment powers on, CarPlay is already up and running. Previously, connecting via the wired option took nearly 10 seconds which seems like an eternity when you need to program a destination in Maps. A con of the always on connections is that I imagine I will have some issues at some point when I am outside the car and a phone call comes in and tries to connect to the car. Other reviewers have reported this behavior, but I am willing to accept that occasional potential headache alongside the rapid and stable connection. Another con is that if I leave my vehicle for an extended time, this device in the USB port could drain the battery, so it’s on me to disconnect it – but that’s an issue with the car, not the Ottocast Mini. I plan to purchase another one for my other car now.

My 2024 Acura MDX comes with wireless Android Auto, but the connection is unstable, it seems at some specific location the connection will disconnect , 99% of time. I took the car to dealer ship, they just keep give me useless advice, asking me if my phone is too old or software not updated, I told them my phone is the samsung flagship s25 ultra, and I keep my phone updated all the time. Anyway, they couldn’t help. I have to use USB cable to use android auto on a 2024 Acura MDX. When I see this product, I think I may try my luck. So I disable my car’s android auto wireless , and unpair the blue bluetooth. Plug in this dongle, pair my phone with this dongle through bluetooth, boom! everything is working flawlessly, the device connects my phone with my car’s bluetooth and then disconnect itself. The android auto works flawlessly, I never had disconnection issue, and it always starts in less than 10 seconds. Compared to the acura factory wireless android auto, it’s day and night difference. it would be my last Acura.
