works! I received this item the day before my family took a road trip. we have portable wifi and hooked a fire stick to the device for use in our newer model ford truck equipped with car play. super easy to use and allowed my family to watch/listen to shows and podcasts on our 10 hour trip. no lag or connectivity issues.

Once you pair your cellphone with the device, you see a menu with two options: CarPlay or HDMI. Wireless CarPlay connects Bluetooth with excellent sound and no latency. I have a google chromecast connected via HDMI and works perfectly. I use my iPhone hotspot and I have no problems at all. 100% recommended 👍👍👍

The media could not be loaded.

It works technically. The big issue is that it says it supports 60hz, but the actual refresh rate is like 15hz max. So it looks terrible on the actual screen. I don’t know if I just got a faulty device, but it isn’t great. Especially for the price, it’s not great. I don’t think there are many other options but I know that it’s not tech worth looking into right now if this is the quality you get.

When I tell you this EXCEEDS my expectations! Initial setup was a lil bit ehh but as soon as I got it it’s been GOLDEN! Of course your internet connection matters so if your hotspot is trash so will be your viewing. This solidified me buying internet for my vehicle. I’m saying help in the video because i keep spending money on this car but this is the best purchase to me in my opinion 😂
