I gave up my Pixel 7 for The Nothing Phone 2 and I’m very impressed with this phone. You get good software, great performance, amazing battery life (I got 9hr of SOT one day) get a good enough camera for whenever you need to take a picture. Yes the Pixels camera was better. But not by much like a lot of YouTubers make you think. Only thing I missed from my Pixel was the “call screen feature” but with this being Android I’m sure I’ll get that eventually in an update. For $600 for a phone that gets you 12gb and 512gb hard drive that will last you 3-4 years as a absolute steal. I can recommend this to anyone that’s not looking to spend $900 on a phone. That give you a flagship phone experience!

Bought my Nothing Phone 2 through their website and received it quickly. Have had no problems with the phone and am looking forward to Nothing OS 2.5 release. Phone responses are snappy, UI design has unique visuals but is intuitive to use due to remaining true to other android systems. Lack of bloatware on the phone and the phones unlocked nature makes it a huge win.
If you want a bloatware free phone in 2023 your options are the Google Pixel line, One Plus, or Nothing. I have had phones in both the Pixel and One Plus lines in the past and wanted to try something new. Not disappointed.

This phone is made to function when needed, and everything is designed to reduce distractions that take your attention. That is its main concept, you need to use the features, otherwise this is just another phone but with some cool light effects on the back.
The opinion on the design is ultimately up to you, but I love it’s visible components concept, even if its curated and only some of it is shown.
The glyphs seem like a niche feature, but they work well and are high quality. They add a whole new dimension to how your phone responds and provides you with non-text based information. I like to use the glyph timer, it’s silent and is perfect for allowing regular breaks between periods of work.
Uses a snapdragon 8+ gen 1, a more power efficient compared to the non plus version. It is a 2-3 year old flagship processor now I believe, but it still holds up pretty well in games so it’s perfectly capable of anything you expect from a phone.
Battery is big enough for a work day, if you are playing games on it all day, you will need to charge it of course.
The screen is very good, one of my favourite features is the extra dim mode, at absolute minimum brightness it is comfortable to view in a dark room.
The phone uses a lot of Google’s own apps: Google files, photos. I don’t find them as good as phone manufacturers’ own file and photo managers, as some key features are missing from Google’s.
There is no bloatware and the nothing phone is laser focused on providing a clutter free and minimal phone experience.
IP rating should be good enough to not worry about the rain, I would avoid it in the bath though.
I recommend getting some protective accessories, I found the phone to be a bit slippery and unwieldy, a phone case provided extra grip.
Cameras are good, sometimes takes better photos than my mirror less camera. The ultra wide camera is invaluable for interior photos of rooms or for very large buildings and scenery where you want to capture everything.
Video capture at 1080p or 4k, 30 or 60fps, with slow-motion up to 480 FPS at 1080p
If there is anything and to say it would be the automatic brightness control for the phone’s screen and the rotation detection, they don’t seem to work too well under certain conditions (maybe it is because it’s under a lightbulb?)
For context: I brought my phone used, very good condition from Amazon warehouse for ~£480
My previous phone lasted me about 5 years, and I plan to keep this phone even longer. this phone ticked off every box and more that I wanted from a new phone, and I wasn’t even following the nothing hype.

I was about to return the phone because it felt expensive but after packing this one and using my older phone I felt how big a difference the UI makes. The hardware is fine, but the softmare is just immaculate.

People always mistake this for an iPhone and I think it’s a really good phone to transition from iPhone to Android because they have an option for it to look very iPhone and it’s fast it has a good camera it’s not you know the Samsung cameras but they are good. It’s fast it definitely looks cool especially from the back and the battery life is amazing. The fingerprint sensor I’m not sure if it’s because I have a privacy shield on it but it kind of doesn’t work very well I’ve registered both fingers two times and it still says there’s like dirt so I usually go with the face recognition which works perfect. Also it’s super durable like I’ve already dropped it and no damage no nothing like perfect but I do have a good case so

First off the presentation was spectacular minimalistic give you the bare essentials charging cable and Sim tool that’s about it no charge brick but that’s the norm these days. Secondly the specs are pretty damn good 12 gigs of RAM 512 GB of storage and a not so old Snapdragon 8th gen that get the work done as well as the 1080p screen it uses ltpo technology like iPhones it’s an OLED it’s pretty good and then we have the build quality nothing more or less it’s really nicely built

Spectacular phone. Amazing specs for a very reasonable price. Turns heads wherever I go. Smooth and fluid. Gaming is a breeze. Had the nothing phone 1 for a year but this really takes it to the next level.
