I’ve always been a loyal Apple fan, but when I started my weight loss and health journey, I realized there were some metrics I didn’t know about. I got this fitness tracker for Christmas and decided to give it a try before returning it for something Apple.

It works great! It lasts for days, which is crazy because I have so many other fitness trackers that drain their batteries quickly.

People love the look of it too. They also support third-party watch partnerships, which is awesome. I can now wear Christmas-themed watches or Marvel or Star Wars watches occasionally. It’s also really easy to set up, which is a huge plus for anyone who uses Apple products.

Love it, a great watch. I had the 955 but lost it while traveling. This is definitely a much nicer package and amazing screen. GPS is just perfect.

The Garmin 965 has been a game changer on my running journey! After a week of analyzing my sleep routine as well as workouts and daily steps, the 965 has formulated a plan to get me ready for my Marathon! This watch has a large amount of functionality and suggested based learning tips! It feels great and is very comfortable! The battery has lasted longer then my previous Garmin, even after a weeks worth of using GPS to track my activities! I like the morning notifications from the overnight analyzing process and the days suggested training plan. I wear this watch everyday, all day and it has proven to be durable so far. I’m glad I upgraded from the Instinct Solar version I had!

This is my first smartwatch, so take with a grain of salt. I have no reference point for comparison, but I love my watch. I splurged to get back into running. It seems to have sensors for every reading possible for modern runners to track progress. GPS is very useful (still learning some advanced features.). I am a data/numbers person, so this keeps me engaged and I can track my progress, training for my first 1/2 marathon and marathon. Also, tech support has been very helpful, they answer quickly and it is nice to talk to a human being..

The only downside is that Amazon music crashes the watch (to cause reboot) at a specific screen if I use the touch interface. It was annoying until I found a workaround. I hope this gets fixed, it seems to be an Amazon issue.

Otherwise, I love the watch as it is helping me get back into shape, lost 15lb so far without dieting. After almost 5 months I am up to 30 miles per week.

I upgraded from and 🍎 AWU2 to this, and it is absolutely amazing. I’ve had it for about 6 months and it has a long battery life, and sits nicely on my wrist. In my opinion the round bezel looks and feels a lot better. A little pricey but totally worth it if you need a fitness watch that does it all!

Ich bin sehr begeistert. Nach der in die Jahre gekommenen fenix5 hatte ich zeitweise mit einer Applewatcht meine Läufer aufgezeichnet. Nachdem diese aber einem Sturz zum Opfer viel, war die Überlegung, mit welcher Uhr ich demnächst meine Läufer tracken will. Da mich die Robustheit der fenix5 überzeugt hatte und mir auch das garmin connect sehr gut gefällt hab ich mich bei Garmin umgeschaut. Die Vivoactiv fand ich erst ganz interessant aber dann entdeckte ich die forerunnerSerie. Dieses Model bietet ohne Ende Daten und Analysen und misst alles äußerst genau. Einzig das Armband musste ich gegen ein Metallarmband wechseln, da es bei mir zu Juckreiz am Handgelenk kam, was natürlich auch eine allärgische Reaktion von mir sein kann und bei anderen Menschen nicht genau so auftreten muss. Bin insgesammt sehr zufrieden mit dieser Uhr.

I came from Apple Watch Ultra and Garmin Fenix 7s Sapphire before that. Apple doesn’t have much in the way of useful training metrics, nor does it have on-watch mapping. You can use an app called Workoutdoors, but it’s still nowhere close to what Garmin has onboard. I’m wish the lens was sapphire on the 965, but I found a screen protector that fits great and practically disappears, so that’ll do. This watch is thinner and lighter than the Fenix series which makes a HUGE difference for me in daily use and in running. The screen is beautiful. Garmin really does have running watches locked down by a country mile. Even if you don’t use dual-band GPS, the accuracy is ridiculously better than just about anything out there, but I’ll admit my Apple Watch Ultra, which ALWAYS has dual band on was pretty good. The downside for AW is that you can’t turn dual band off to save battery when the terrain doesn’t require it. I use SatIQ on my Garmin and it’s perfect.
