   Nice drone. Very strong, survived the crash in to tree. Light and easy to use. Very stable flying even in winds. Flight time is also great for the size of drone. Camera is the real catch it captures 4k video. This is ideal for beginners.

   First, let’s cover the hardware.

   DJI has clearly put a lot of thought and engineering into making a compact, flyable drone that’s easily transportable. Fit and finish on the various components is excellent, and the fact that the drone folds into a compact package for transport makes taking it along with you a snap. No complaints at all in those areas. The fly more combo is a “must have” in my opinion, as it’ll help you keep flying rather than spending too much of your time waiting for batteries to charge, or having to order extra propeller blades in the event of a minor crash.

   The software, however, is another story.

   Does it work well? Yes. It’s really a pleasure for the flying aspects. It’s dead easy for a beginner (that was both the wife and I) to successfully take off, fly the drone successfully, and land. I had bought it for her as a gift, and we’re both new to drone flying, so that was a real plus, and quite frankly, the place where the software was most useful.

   What is not very useful is the lack of documentation that came with the drone regarding that software. There’s little in the way of additional information that proved immediately useful. Many terms aren’t clearly defined, as regards how they are used in the software, and it took a considerable amount of extra Internet research to figure out what was meant. In addition, the Android version of the software appears to have been adapted from what was originally developed for use on Apple’s IOS devices like iPhones and iPads. On Android, using a Pixel 4 as the controller display, the single most annoying aspect was lack of a clearly indicated means of leaving the app. Add to that the fact that it’s unclear just what certain software controls are meant to do, at all, and frustration levels quickly mount.

   Especially difficult was attempting to determine just where photos and videos are being stored. Are they stored on the internal memory or the micro SD card? Can’t really tell. How does one move information from one to the other? How do you get the drone to download to a PC via the USB cable? And worse, considering the entire purpose of the software beyond flying is to be able to retrieve footage you’ve recorded in flight, how do you successfully get all your photos and videos onto the SD card in order to be able to just copy it from the micro SD to a computer of some sort? That particular adventure took another couple of hours of Internet search, watching instructional videos, and trial-and-horror. And no, that’s NOT a misspelling of “error”.

   So…

   What should one expect?

   First, plan on spending a lot of time figuring out software for virtually every aspect of use with the exception of actually flying the drone. I’d recommend you do a lot of reading about it on the Internet (and watching videos to see what it looks like in practice).

   Second, DJI should seriously evaluate their UI. Far too much has been crammed into a single app. And far too little is provided in terms of documentation of the steps to accomplish many of the non-flying functions.

   Third, DJI should recognize that not all users are familiar with (or even like) the IOS sort of approach to software design.

   Fourth, the software should make retrieving one’s photos and video footage the absolute clearest and easiest beyond that portion of the app used in flying. I think it would benefit all users if the portion of the app that handles files and file transfers was made separate from that used in configuring or flying the aircraft.

   Fifth, why not make ALL the data the drone is collecting easily available for use by the purchaser? I have seen reference to flight data, for example, being recorded by the aircraft, but have not found a ready means of downloading it. It would be nice to be able to analyze that data using commonly available software tools to see just how well, for example, what one thought one flew matches with what the flight actually was.

   While we’ve got lots of criticism of the app (just in case you hadn’t noticed already), neither of us are displeased with the purchase. The Mavic Mini 2 flies easily and well, and it really is fun to use. And, once one gets over the completely unnecessary software hurdles, it’s not all that difficult to remember what to do the next time one is attempting to retrieve those files. If you’re interested in getting into drone flying, I’d recommend having a look at this one. It’s not terribly expensive, and you’ll quickly be up and flying.

   Ease of use: very nice, super easy to fly. Great camera quality 4k.
   Valuable choice, very good price / quality.
   Not 5 stars because the batteries (drone and remote) seem to go to 0 quite easily. I know it depends on weather conditions, but the duration was not I expected. Fair time flight I would say, but not extraordinary.
   Excellent product anyway.

   I’ve never had a drone before & I wanted one because I’m a professional nature photographer. I ultimately decided on a DJI Mini 4k knowing the quality of photos is good enough that I could sell the images on my website as prints.

   Never having used a drone in my life, I was flying blind (no pun intended) & had clue WTF I was doing. It’s a good thing YouTube exists as I learned to fly it from all of the “how to” videos posted on there. It took a few times but I got the hang of it.

   It’s very easy to learn how to fly this drone & I’m grateful for that. I understand those of you who would like a drone but learning how to fly it can be scary. Have no fear, it’s much easier than you think.

   I do wish the battery lasted much longer. I don’t understand why they cost so much when the batteries for my camera that even larger cost $10. Something isn’t adding up there.

   Overall I’m very happy & excited.
   If you’re thinking of getting a good drone with excellent image quality for photos, this is certainly it!

   Ich habe mir die DJI Mini 4K als Einsteigerdrohne geholt und bin richtig begeistert. Die Bildqualität ist für diese Preisklasse beeindruckend – flüssige 4K-Videos, stabile Fluglage und einfache Bedienung. Ideal für alle, die erste Erfahrungen mit Luftaufnahmen machen wollen, ohne gleich 1.000 € auszugeben.

   Die App ist benutzerfreundlich, die Steuerung präzise, und durch das Gewicht unter 250 g braucht man keine spezielle Drohnenlizenz – perfekt für Freizeitpiloten.

   Was ich auch loben muss: Amazon. Die Lieferung war wie immer schnell und unkompliziert – am nächsten Tag da, gut verpackt und das Angebot (Preis) war so unschlagbar, dass ich mich nicht beherrschen konnte 😉

   Fazit:
   Eine durchdachte, stabile Einsteigerdrohne mit erstaunlich guter Kamera. Wer erste Schritte im Drohnenflug machen will, liegt mit der Mini 4K genau richtig.

   Great drone for any beginner especially those not thinking of buying anything else more expensive ; this mini drone has best features compared to other drones. Easy to use , easy registration, light weight , very fast; can go as high close to 425 feet but device will tell you that you reached your limit depending your location , same for distance – I flown mines and it reached as far as 2.2 miles as far as my limit in my urban area stands. Great, clear photos / videos. Highly recommend buying this drone, this is all you need and you can take it anywhere as it is completely light weight. Thank you !

   Primer dron y después de ver varios vídeos muy fácil de volar y muy contento con el dron y sus capacidades. La cámara toma muy buenos vídeos en 4K con excelente calidad y el zoom excelente (hasta 4X). La cámara también toma muy buenas fotos. No he probado los quick shots pero se ven que funcionan muy bien al igual que toma de fotos panorámicas. La batería si da unos 25-30 min, que no está mal pero si recomiendo el set con 3 baterías, pues aparte trae un aditamento para sostener las hélices durante el transporte.
   Muy satisfecho y si te pone algo nervioso cuando ya no lo vez, pero lo puedes manejar perfectamente por la cámara y el mapa.
   OJO, No compres el Assurant – 2 Años Cámara – Seguro de Daños accidentales. No cubre daños accidentales como indican. Sus terminos y condiciones dicen claramente ” La Garantía Extendida no será aplicable en los siguientes casos: h) En daños, averías o malfuncionamiento causado por acontecimientos o condiciones extrínsecas al Producto, tales como golpes, caídas, mojaduras o salpicaduras. Es solo una extension de garantia…..

   This drone is incredible! The 4K camera delivers stunning video quality, and the 3-axis gimbal keeps everything smooth and stable. I love that it’s under 249 g, so it’s lightweight and easy to take anywhere without extra hassle.

   The Fly More Combo is worth it — extra batteries and accessories give much longer flight time and flexibility. Easy to fly, compact, and powerful. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced users alike!

   Happy with purchase – 16/09/2025

   Really really really happy with making this purchase. I have been considering getting one for a while but never really thought I would use it. I have been doing photography for a while and have been wanting to add to my collection of gear. Love this drone so much and it’s pretty easy (the basic controls) as Im a first time drone owner. The one and only thing I do t like is you only get about 20/30 minutes of flight time but from my research that’s pretty average so no biggy, it’s just so fun and so cool you wanna fly for hours. Well worth the money!!

    Great fun and much easier to set up a fly than a much bigger drone from the same company. Great camera with awesome video form it. 3 batteries has given me a lot more fun each time I go out to fly it.
