First time purchasing a monitor for work, was really happy with this monitor! Setting up was super easy (in particular for a newbie like me), only 2 cables (one to the power source and the other one being a USB-C to USB-C cable, that was it!). Overall really happy with the sharpness of the graphics as well!

The title says it all really. Arrived well packaged and easy to set-up. Initially, I was disappointed with the picture quality but upping the refresh rate to 75Mhz transformed it and it’s now superb for what I need (which isn’t gaming 🙂 – the picture is bright and text is sharp.
I’ve given 4 stars because there are no speakers which I thought there were – my bad but in my defence the model numbers are a little confusing – pay attention to the letters at the end!
I was going to send it back and get the next model up with speakers but Dell seems to be moving over to white or silver monitors, I prefer black and there wasn’t a reasonably priced screen identical to the S2721NX but with speakers. For now, it’s not a big issue as my laptop speakers are excellent and Amazon do a nice set of their USB Powered Basics speakers for around £14 quid if I decide I do need speakers when I hook it up to my office PC later on.
Overall it’s excellent and I’d buy one again.

As it says in the title. Took me a few tries to find the perfect monitor for my apple MacBook but I’m definitely keeping this one. Resolution is great, connects easily, sound is good and quality is great. Very happy

I bought this Dell 4K monitor to upgrade from a full HD monitor and what a difference! This monitor is clearly well made, and looks beautiful and unobtrusive in my home office. The bezel is thin on the top and sides, with a slightly thicker bar at the bottom incorporating the Dell logo and physical configuration buttons in a pleasing slightly angular design. The rear of the monitor is white with a very nice subtle textured design. The stand feels secure and is easy to mount, and the monitor can also be used with a VESA mount if desired. The 4k resolution is clear and crisp, and text in particular looks beautiful on screen. The 4K resolution allows me to have more content visible on screen, and combined with the 27″ screen size I can comfortably have two or more windows open side by side for efficient working. Perhaps my favourite feature is the USB-C connection, as this allows me to easily swap between laptops (work and personal) using only one USB-C cable, and connect my cabled mouse and webcam directly to the other USB 3 ports on the monitor so I don’t have to physically swap and reconnect these to each laptop each time. Overall, I’m really happy with this monitor.

This is a very good monitor. It connected with my MacBook Pro, and was working perfectly within 2 minutes of opening the box. A great screen, a brilliant, easy to assemble stand, of good quality, at such a modest price point.
One thing vexes me, it’s obvious that a great deal of thought has been involved in the creation of this excellent product, so why is it that the only information about the set up, language etc, is available to the buyer only, via the download of a 76 page manual? I can handle the text been in German, because I don’t really need it, but why ‘hide’ these 4 microscopic buttons under the lower bezel, hidden from sight, and fail to provide essential basic information about their function?

I don’t use this for gaming, just usual Office 365 type stuff. It’s excellent for this. The screen is big but easy on the eyes with the reduced blue light function. It’s simple to set up – literally attach one screw to the base. You don’t even need a screwdriver.
It works out of the box, but if you need to adjust settings, the 4 buttons at the bottom are very intuitive and I had no problem changing some of the visual settings. Tons of connectivity at the back.
The speakers are not very good, as expected, but not a problem for my work.
