First of all, the setup was quite simple. It took only a few seconds for my iPhone to connect once I hooked it into the CarPlay USB connection that was already present in my vehicle. There was no need for any software or lengthy setup. Additionally, it remembers the connection; thus, once I put the ignition on, CarPlay begins to boot up wirelessly, and I am immediately ready to go.

This shocked me both in terms of speed and response. I had anticipated that there might be some lag or glitchiness, but to my surprise, everything is quick, fluid, and steady. Everything works well, whether I’m using Apple Maps, Waze, voice-to-text, or listening to audiobooks and music. Everything works like a gem. There were no disconnects and there was no latency while I used it for my commute, road trips, and errands.

In terms of its appearance, the adapter is streamlined and extremely small; it is hardly discernible in the vehicle. I adore the fact that I can tuck it away out of sight, and it will continue to function in the background without any noise. Not only does it not consume power that is not essential, but it also does not conflict with anything else in my system.

The fact that it does not overheat, freeze, or crash like other of the off-brand dongles that I have used in the past is another thing that I enjoy about it. I got this wireless CarPlay adapter for a couple of weeks now, it’s been a nice upgrade from having to plug my phone in every single time. Setup was simple, I just paired it once, now every time I start the car, my iPhone connects right away without me doing anything. No cables hanging around, which makes the dash look a lot cleaner. The size is tiny, about like a key fob, it doesn’t get in the way of any other ports. Connection speed has been solid so far, maps load fast, calls sound clear, I haven’t noticed any lag with music controls. I’ve used it on a couple of long drives, it stayed cool the whole time, even in summer heat. The included USB C adapter was handy for switching between my car and my partner’s. This adater makes CarPlay way more convenient without feeling like a tech headache.
