Santa delivered a PlayStation 5, and my son read the instructions before assembling it.
Yeppers, he has that youngster intuitive feel for this world, but I was a bad example, helping him read the instructions.
He then found we lacked the internal disk drive. We ordered one of these. Am told the used price will be about $80 in a month or 3, but we bought this one immediately.
This is especially important if you want to buy second hand games on disks – and a 5 will play games written for a 4. On disks.

The product works great. It attached right to my ps5 pro and works as promised. They being said I payed almost $100 extra dollars compared to how much drive normally costs ($89.99) and I payed $170. My point is you don’t have money to burn I’d look elsewhere but you get what you pay for

This is a great product for those who are in need of a disk drive for the PS5 slim or PS5 pro but be warned prices on Amazon are too high please wait just get a drive for $80 to manufacturer suggested retail price other than getting ganged on Amazon because people like to gouge in this country. It is a great item but please do not buy it for these overly exorbitant prices.

Shipped and sold as used, package was still Sony sealed.. so new ‘used’ or?? Either way very nice and tested with 4k ultra Blu-ray movie as well as game media, works great and is a big improvement over the noise maker in the original ps5 disc version.
