This monitor seemed fine and a great price. The return window is only a month long so the price ended up not being worth it for a couple months of use. I was not hard on this and I don’t know why it started bugging out but a month long return period is not good. I would avoid getting this product.

It looks good, it sounds good. Easy to use, connect it to your device with USB-C or power it and use HDMI. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C power cable, USB-C to USB-C power and video cable, and HDMI to mini-HDMI cable (different to micro). It feels very solid, the screen is decently resilient to smudges. Fairly portable and lightweight but also decently sized.
Overall: Amazing
Can’t wait to use it with my Steam Deck.

The actual product design looks great, but it doesn’t come with good instructions, and I’m still dialing in the display (the whites are a bit intense, but I’ve been able to tame them–got brightness at 25%, comes preset at 70%–and it’s close to where I want it, since I’m using this for portable video production, as well as for normal day-to-day work). The display isn’t as good/sharp as my MacBook Air’s (M1), but it’s good enough for sure.
One huge bonus, which isn’t mentioned on their page (and should be), is that my laptop seems to be able to power it. (I just discovered this a few hours ago, and it’s still going strong.) It didn’t do so off the bat, but once I changed the input (from the monitor’s controls) from HDMI mode (which is it’s default) to C (presumably UBC C) and plugged it into my laptop with the included UBC C to UBC C cable, it did the trick. This is a great feature and makes this product a lot more functional.
And I should mention that you’ll probably not want to use the built-in speakers (and just use your computer’s speakers or connect the monitor to external speakers).
So, in conclusion, this product requires some tweaking and experimentation up front, but soon you’ll have a very functional and portable external monitor with its own built-in cover. I’ll update this review if there are any updates or long-term issues.

I recently purchased the Yodoit Portable Monitor for my laptop while it was on sale, and I have been very impressed with its performance, especially considering the price. The screen quality is excellent, with a Full HD 1920×1080 IPS display that delivers vibrant colors and sharp images. While it’s not the brightest monitor I’ve used, it still performs very well in most lighting conditions.
One of the standout features is the built-in speakers, which are a convenient addition for a portable monitor. The included case and stand combo make it incredibly easy to carry and set up, whether I’m working from home or on the go. It also comes with all the necessary cables, which is a great touch and saves you from needing to buy extras.
This monitor serves as an excellent secondary screen for my laptop, enhancing my productivity by providing additional screen real estate. Additionally, if you prefer a more permanent setup, it supports VESA mounting, which is a nice option to have.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely buy it again. My only suggestion for the company would be to work on increasing the panel’s brightness. Nonetheless, it’s a great value for the price, and I highly recommend it!

Bought this during Amazon deal days for like $50. Picture is more clear than my laptop. Has built in speakers and adjustable brightness. Plugs in easy with a usb-c. I’m pretty sure it charges from the laptop bc I haven’t had to charge it since I purchased. I use it daily for work & allows me to change my WFH setting so I’m not stuck at the desk all day. Absolutely love it!

I use 3 monitors at the office so when I am on the go and still need to work, the 1 screen on my laptop was a real struggle. This monitor has very nice quality, easy to set up, lightweight. The brightness is adjustable with a button on the edge. I’m able to maintain productivity while traveling or working from my deck. So glad I bought this monitor. Another perk is it fits nicely in my bag with the laptop.

The first unit I received was grey instead of black no matter what I adjusted. I received a second monitor and it is a solid black, it looks good. The shape is the same as a TV, so it looks odd next to my 16″ laptop screen that is taller and narrower, but it works great for charts and spreadsheets.
I was surprised at the price for this quality, the lighter weight with a magnetic cover/stand put this one at the top of my list, not to mention the cables for every configuration. I’m glad I exchanged instead of returning.
